Good value on an FHA loan

I was shopping around for an FHA loan and loanDepot had some of the best rates I found. They also offered a lender credit towards closing costs which saved me a good chunk of money up front, so that felt worth it. The paperwork took a little longer than I expected, but it closed within the timeframe they originally gave me. Overall, for the savings, it was a good deal.

Home purchase was so easy

I used loanDepot for my home purchase loan and it was such a smooth process! The team was super helpful and answered all my questions really quickly. I got a great rate too. They even helped me secure some first-time homebuyer incentives which made a huge difference. I'm telling everyone I know to check them out. I will definitely use them again for any future needs!

Consistent service for refinance

This was my second time using loanDepot, this time for a cash-out refinance. My previous experience with them on a 30-year fixed rate mortgage was good, and they delivered again. The process was efficient, just like last time, even with all the extra paperwork for the cash-out option. They communicated well, keeping me updated through each step. It's why I keep coming back, they're reliable.

hey has anyone used loanDepot for a refinance? wondering about the closing timeframes, like how long from application to actually closing in California?

R Ryan 3 months ago
Yeah I did my refi with them last year in SoCal. Took about 4-5 weeks total. Depends on how fast you get all your docs in tho.

Mine was a bit longer, like 6 weeks, but there were some snags with my old mortgage company. I think 4-6 weeks is pretty standard from what I've heard.

Are there actual promo codes for loanDepot? Or like, do they just give you discounts automatically if you qualify for something?

S Sarah H. 2 months ago
Nah, no promo codes from what I saw. They just apply any credits or waivers to your closing costs directly if you're eligible for things like being a veteran or whatever.

Yeah, I asked about a 'code' when I was getting my mortgage and they said they don't do that. It's more about what programs you fit into for lender credits.
